The Golf Performance Center at Old Corkscrew GC is to provide a series of week long and weekend getaways to groups of Canadian golfers during the winter months. These performance schools can accommodate groups of two or more and will provide extensive swing, short game and on course instruction from CPGA Professional Carrie Vaughan. The golf schools provide accommodations, breakfast each day, shuttle service, rounds of golf, range instruction, on course instruction as well as daily cocktail hour and instruction debriefing.
The award winning facilities at Old Corkscrew GC is a Jack Nicklaus signature design and boasts an upscale practice facility will act as the home club for all instruction and on course play. Old Corkscrew is fast becoming renowned in southwest Florida for its challenging golf course and outstanding hospitality making all participants feel like they are at their home club. The student will be housed at the new Hilton Garden Inn or Homewood Suites in Ft Myers Florida. These luxury facilities are the highest standard of accommodations. We are very please to offer all students complimentary shuttle service to and from airport and around town for evening dinner outing, no need to rent a car, we have you covered.

Carrie Vaughan is both an accomplished player and an experienced teacher. She has won the New Brunswick provincial championship three times, twice played in the LPGA CN Canadian Women’s Open, was a finalist in the LPGA qualifying school. Carrie played three seasons on the Durham Futures Golf tour in United States pursuing her dream. She joined The Clublink academy at Glen Abbey in 2009 and started the first ever ELITE Jr Program for Girls only. This program is designed to assist young women in achieving their goals and developing their game. Her passion lies in making golf more fun for her students. Carrie has found great success in teaching students of all ages and genders by focusing on good fundamentals. After spending years on tour, Carrie has found her place on the lesson tee.
