Double Up for better putts - putting drill
To check to see if you are making your putting stroke with a square clubface hit two balls. Line up one ball at the toe of the club and one at the heel. If your putter is square through impact both balls should be struck at the same time and roll the same distance.

An example of a good putt in this drill will have the balls coming off the putter face equally. A poor putt in this drill will see the two balls move different distances and in different directions.
If the ball at the toe leaves first and rolls furthest your clubface is closed and if the ball at the heel leaves first and rolls furthest your club face is open.

Practise this drill to develop a square putter at impact and watch your putts and scores drop.

Enjoyed your review of Rotation Extension and Hinge find being able to watch, rewatch, and then practise very helpful. Nice to be able to review my weak areas in my own time. have you ever thought of filming a teaching video, you have helped me a lot, I really enjoy your teaching style and find the way you break each skill into small bites very helpful!!
