Early on in the season I mentioned that one of my favourite players to watch is Michelle Wie.

So how is she doing so far? Well, with 13 events played to date she is 19th on the money list. Her best finish is third at the Tres Marias Championship in May, however, had a very respectable 17th place finish at the Ricoh Women’s British Open earlier this month.

Why am I drawn to her? I wish I knew.

But I can tell you this: she is third on tour for greens in regulation and yet 139th on tour for putting average.
